Anche Chesed CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program
CSA is designed to save local farms by providing farmers a livable wage, protect our environment and ensure the safety and security of our local food supply. On a weekly basis, the organization provides locally grown farm products to city-dwellers who buy shares in the farm's output.
Nutrifitness has taken on seasonal duties registering members and has been involved with planning, education development, farm tours, weekly staffing and as an intermediate between the farm staff and the customer base.
There are day-volunteering opportunities on the farm and ongoing volunteer opportunities here in the city in administration and food distribution.

Center for Social and Emotional Education
We developed a high school-wide health fair program. The program consisted of educating the program team on healthy living practices and then helping them develop the agenda, educational materials and interactive lectures they would present to the full student body. Educational themes included increasing fruit and vegetable intake, increasing physical activity and improving hygiene. Such programs are always in need of additional volunteers to work with school staff and children.
"Our (CSEE's) goal is to promote positive and sustained school climate: a safe, supportive environment that nurtures social and emotional, ethical, and academic skills. CSEE is an organization that helps schools integrate crucial social and emotional learning with academic instruction. In doing so, we enhance student performance, prevent drop outs, reduce physical violence, bullying, and develop healthy and positively engaged adults." (Quoted from the CSEE Web site.)
